Mary Miller Veazie

Biography

Painting in the style of realistic impressionism, Mary utilizes a strong design framework, beautiful harmonic color and masterful paint application.

Mary is a member of the Oil Painters of America, the American Impressionist Society, the American Woman Painters, the Portrait Society of America, the Chestnut Group and the Women Painters of the Southeast.

Mary’s work is in the permanent collection of Vanderbilt’s Monroe Carrell Children’s Hospital, Middle Tennessee Medical Center, Murfreesboro Medical Clinic, and the Brentwood Academy, TN.

In addition to painting and raising a family, Mary teaches art classes in Murfreesboro with an emphasis on design, technique, and color. She finds it extremely rewarding to be able to paint and to share her love of painting with others. “I am blessed to have a profession that gives me great joy,” Mary says.
